Another high-gravity day today, maybe worse than the usual high-gravity day because I didn’t sync (pair) my heart monitor with my Garmin, so I couldn’t really tell if I had more to give or I was giving her all I got!

Kevin (son, not the pilot), Karen, Eric, Marcus plus one more I’m sure but can’t recall who. Hate that. Made it up through the park intact and at a reasonably-fast pace, then slowed down quite a bit once on Kings. Good thing, that! Everyone rode on ahead of me although eventually I reeled in Karen & Eric. Marcus and Kevin got bored at some point and took off.

Only noteworthy item was some nut in a car who decided to pass us on the first corner descending 84 towards Woodside. He gave us plenty of room, no issue there. In fact, he was entirely in the other lane. On a blind corner! Totally nuts; you’re watching it and just waiting for something terrible to happen. But it didn’t; the gene pool got no help today from Darwin.
