“Crochet Type Rim” This is not an English term. Some tires from the Dutch company Vredestein have a translation error in which they say their tires should be mounted on “crochet type rims only.” What they mean is hook-edge rims.
“Crochet” is French for “hook.” Evidently somebody at Vredestein got the two languages mixed up.
