1 Kevin missing, the other Kevin slow; easy ride before the rain

Woke up Kevin for the ride this morning but it was obvious he wasn't going anywhere; he's 2/3rds of the way through The Plague that's going around (nasty head cold). Made the call to ride the nice bike, as it looked like the rain would hold off, and it did. Not that we didn't give it a chance to catch up to us though; the Kevin who did show up was probably feeling about the same as the Kevin who didn't.

Marcus was, at best, in idle mode heading up Kings, chatting with JR, while I kept Kevin company. Going through the park, we eventually reached the top of Kings about 34 minutes later. As mentioned, no rain, but a fair amount of wind. Fortunately, no heavy debris on the road, but lots of pretty blowing clouds in the sky.

We finished the ride about 15 minutes behind a fast pace, and that suited me just fine today.
