It's going to be a long winter

Kevin enjoying a brief stop for the view on West Old LaHonda, and a tree near home that had the most amazing assortment of colors.
Where was everyone? Just myself and Kevin on another cool, ok cold morning. First time we saw our breaths as we waited for noone at the start of the ride.

Slow? Yeah, 34 minutes slow heading up Kings. Like I said, it's going to be a long winter. On the other hand, it's also been beautiful out there, especially on the coast side. We actually stopped halfway through West Old LaHonda when I noticed just how nice the view was from a spot I'd never noticed before.

The year is winding down, and, while I was hoping to hit something over 7000 miles, it looks like the 6850 or so that I will hit might actually be the most miles I've done in a decade. A bit surprising, but I'll take it.

But yeah, I'd really like it a bit warmer. Riding in colder weather has never been this tough on me before, and it hasn't even gotten all that cold yet!
