The picture tells it all. Beautiful mid-winter day in Northern California. Fog shutting down SFO & SJC airports, but that’s on the other side of the hill, and a lot further down! This is Life at Bike Speed. Everything at just the right pace; you smell breakfast cooking on stoves, notice the way fog looks like a bed made of cotton that somebody’s pulled up in places, the view of the coast that stretches all the way to Hawaii. You don’t get this hiking, you don’t get it driving. And you certainly don’t get it sitting at home watching TV. Life at Bike Speed is good. Very, very good.
