Looked quite gray when I got up this morning, but by the time we’d climbed up through Huddart Park on our way up Kings, it had completely burned off. Kevin (my son, not the pilot) was feeling pretty good today, managing to stay within one group or another all the way up the climb. Kevin, Kevin, Karl, Karen, Eric & Milo with me today.

Kevin was at or near the front until the second half of west Old LaHonda, where it became evident he doesn’t yet have the ability to run full-gas the whole ride. Nevertheless Karen remarked how amazing it was that both Kevin and Karl had been off their bikes for 2+ months and yet you could hardly tell.
